friday was a bittersweet day as i packed up my office and worked my final day as the coordinator of club sports
we started the weekend with a good, long, hot run.
it felt great to get back out there and do a little more than our normal walks.
i am definitely feeling it today though.
kenley’s newest face. half scared, half smile, fully creepy.
greg and i had a long overdue daytime date at the magic/pacers playoff game at amway
it was fun to watch my hometown team take on our home team
the pacers won in an exciting, overtime game
a huge thanks to sally, nathan and charlie for actually babysitting kenley while we went to the game!
nothing says happy cinco de mayo like a huge tray of chips and queso from tijuana flats
and the biggest bowl of guacamole you’ve ever seen.
we also had build your own tacos and some great amigos to celebrate with.
and of course corona light with a lime
to top it off, the super moon! it was so bright.
we had a semi-productive sunday and treated ourselves to frappachino happy hour
how was your weekend? how did you celebrate cinco de mayo!?
baby kyler came to play!
loved her first time in the jumperoo!
finally made it to a game to cheer on the knights.
family photo time
little feet cheering on the hoosiers.
headed over to charlie’s house to play!
she loved charlie’s chair!
how was your weekend?
The last four days have been jammed packed
with March Madness and constant basketball…
and I’m not complaining!
Greg worked the CBI Quarterfinals tonight
where the UCF Knights were victorious!
Do you know who won the CBI Tournament last year?
Virginia Commonwealth University…
yep, that’s right, who is headed to the Sweet 16 this year.
That means there is definitely hope for the Knights next year!
It’s always a good day when Purdue loses!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
As much as we are trying to get into these
“First Four” games…
We are SO ready for tomorrow & Friday!
Happy March Madness!
Tonight was Senior Night for the UCF Knights!
The UCF Arena staff, significant others, family, and friends
all hung out in Suite 3 to watch the game!
[Ryan, Greg & Jeremy]
The UCF Knights won in a thriller!
Greg and I went to the Orlando Magic game tonight,
(thanks to our friend Michelle who gave us the tickets).
It was my first (and Greg’s second) Magic game at the new Amway Center
which is unbelievable. It’s hard to believe you’re in an arena!
The Magic beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 103-87!
It was an absolutely gorgeous day in Orlando
and this was the perfect way to end the weekend!
For those of you who don’t know, we love college basketball.
Like… March Madness is almost better than Christmas.
Tonight, Indiana is playing #21 Illinois in Bloomington, IN.
Thanks to the Big Ten Network,
we get to watch all the way in (warm) Florida!
We’re hanging with them so far… Let’s hope they can keep it up!
Tonight UCF beat Marshall to go to 14-0 !
They are one of only 7 teams still undefeated!
Greg and I worked the game tonight so we got to watch some of it!
