the kids’ school was closed on friday so we celebrated national donut day at dunkin’ donuts.

kyler and hudson came over to play after breakfast. everybody loves hudson!

during nap time we loaded in the car and headed to grammy’s.

my big plan on saturday morning was to go for a run…on the beach.
wow. needless to say, we treated ourselves to starbucks afterwards.

we then hit up the beach for real. it was crosby’s first time!

he didn’t love it was much as i thought he would.

this girl refuses to look at the camera for a picture, but i’m glad how this one turned out.

oh just having some lunch.

saturday night was spent with extended family, drinking some beers and taking in the view.

a restless night turned into an early morning road trip home.
coffee was much needed.

hanging out in the shade watching sister play at the park.

we had a great summer weekend swimming and playing at outside and at the beach.
