Friday I’m in Love

Happy Friday! It’s been a while since I’ve shared what I have been loving. My apologies. Life has been insanely busy! Let’s get started…

It is the MOST wonderful time of the year! I ordered our Christmas cards in early November, but they have been sitting on our dining room table for weeks. I finally broke them out this week (when I should have been writing my paper, of course) to address them. Greg and I had a nice assembly line going. I was in charge of addressing and he was in charge of stamping. Addressing was a little more fun this year thanks to my sweet little Lettermate. It really does help you write in a straight line! I am anxious to practice with it some more and maybe get a little bit more fancy next year….we’ll see. Ha!

I was not as impressed with my Black Friday, Cyber Monday shopping as I have been in the past, but I did manage to stock up on some more Replay dishes, including the flat plates which we hadn’t ordered yet. These were the Anna and Elsa inspired sets that were only available that weekend and ended up selling out. I love the colors and am so excited to start using the flat plates for the kids. We absolutely LOVE these dishes and don’t use anything else!

Ya’ll… Fixer Upper is back for it’s third season and I am in love! It has been quiet the anticipated comeback for the show, so we are happy it is finally here. I came across the article: 49 Thoughts You Have Every Time You Watch HGTV’s “Fixer Upper” and they are spot on. Seriously, when are Chip and Jojo going to adopt me?!

We are in full on Christmas mode in our house. Sprinkles (the elf) is back and is moving about the house while the kids are sleeping and our advent calendar is filled with fun activities for the month. I shared our list of activities over on Orlando Moms Blog this week if you want to check them out. We also hit up Santa a few weeks ago and I was pleased with the picture. I may be biased, but I think we have the best Santa in the country. Kenley told Santa she wants Christmas pajamas for Christmas. She’s easy to please!

  1. Love to know more about the lettermate. I have been debating about getting one. I have been catching old episodes of Fixer Up all week. Cannot get enough. My style is more coastal, but I find myself loving so much more farm style because of the show.

    • I saw the Lettermate floating around Pinterest, so I wanted to try it. it is just a stencil with four boxes so you write the address on those four lines. The examples on the website show fancy writing but mine was plain, but it was all spaced out nice and pretty. You should try it!
