after an uneventful friday night, i started my saturday morning with my first trail run!

we were a little nervous and probably a little too ambitious since we thought we were going to do five miles, but we happily ended at 3.3 since it was super hot and humid. overall, it was a great time and we ended up having a huge group, which made it even better!

cleaning out some toys, which of course made him want to play with them even more.

alicia came into town on saturday morning, so we went out to cooper’s hawk for dinner and drinks; then to headed to target to stock up on party supplies for sunday.

after a hot monday morning run, we jumped right into the pool.

after naps, we headed down to vanbarry’s to celebrate our sweet friends’ engagement!

we had such a fun long weekend and were so happy that alicia was in town for it!
