by the doctor’s order, i put my leg into the cold pool to ice it on saturday morning…when it was 46 degrees out. thank goodness for hot coffee.

they thought it was hilarious.

we celebrated jackson’s birthday with a chicago and airplane party. i had to sport my chicago shirt for the occasion.

we had a much needed relaxing weekend. i spent most of the day on saturday cleaning out our kitchen and packing up boxes for donation, thanks to a simplified life. it was a perfect weekend to kick off the new year.
