we had a great first weekend of december!

how was your weekend?
we started the weekend on thursday night with ice skating and burgers on campus.
crosby did well but it was short lived.
back at it on saturday morning. 8 miles with the girls!
gorgeous sunrise that reminded me of stranger things.
we celebrated cari’s birthday by roller skating!
game time outside.
family movie night! we watched the polar express.
roasting marshmallows for s’mores!

we headed down to disney springs after church to check out the christmas decorations.
it was a gorgeous day and our cold front has definitely ended.
we walked through the trail of trees and kenley got her picture with every single one. i’ll share those soon. it was super cool!

six chilly miles, then starbucks.
the kids were obsessed with putting up the christmas tree this year.
on saturday night, we saw the best christmas pageant ever musical at the orlando rep. it was so cute! i highly recommend seeing it.
we headed to legoland today to visit with the mangos!

after a quick nap, we headed back to the resort to play.
it was so great to catch up with mike and karen!

we had a busy, but fun and festive weekend. we love when friends come to visit.
how was your weekend?
we have so much to be thankful for.
thanksgiving dinner was low key and it was just the four of us.
our menu included:
fried turkey
mashed potatoes
gravy
stuffing casserole muffins
green bean casserole
and pumpkin pie.
it was perfect.
our newest little turkey
we ended the evening with a fire at the jenkinson’s.
we had perfect weather with temperatures in the 50’s.
i think it’s the start of a great tradition.

our little man turned one month old!
and is sporting his first cloth diaper.
he wasn’t thrilled.

it’s acceptable for me to share it with you.
we’re excited for the christmas season!
we even made a visit to the big man!
kenley did a great job, but was a little scared.
she told us before that she wanted ornaments for christmas,
but now the answer has changed to presents since she has seen them under the tree.
