I am rarely on Facebook these days, but I happened to see a friend post about a food chopper that she just ordered. Considering all of the food prep we’ve been doing, I immediately ordered it. The Chef’n VeggiChop Hand-Powered Food Chopper is the jam! I first used it for bell peppers and wasn’t a huge fan because they turned out pretty watery. I used it next for onion and cilantro and it was amazing! I think I chopped the peppers too fine so I probably will try them again. Overall, I’m a fan. It’s so fast and easy!

Greg and I really love iced coffee (with vanilla and cream) and it’s our go-to drink at Starbucks. Greg did some research and found a copycat recipe from Starbucks themselves! He’s been grinding, pressing, and icing coffee each week for us and it’s so good!

Thank you Target for the best shirt of the year. Both of my kids got a new Strong Like Mom shirt to sport. Bravo, Target, bravo!

The Hoosiers got a big win last night in the Big Ten tournament giving us a glimmer of hope for making the tournament. Either way, we’re ready for March Madness! Bring on the basketball!

we hoped our busy saturday meant for a good night of sleep, but that was not the case.
it was quite the opposite for a restless toddler.
sunday morning coffee was a must.

while we would have loved to nap too, we did get a ton done around the house.

Four day work weeks! Can I get an amen?
Who do I need to talk to about making this a weekly thing?
I could get a whole lot more done each week if every weekend had three days.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I am having more fun shopping for boy clothes than girl clothes.
Maybe it’s because it’s still new to me, or maybe it’s because the clothes are so stinkin’ cute!
If it’s nautical or striped, I have a hard time resisting it.
Crosby will be sporting the following this summer & fall.

My new UGG boots.
I got these for Christmas and thanks to the unseasonably cold weather we’ve been having,
I’ve been living in them!
They are definitely keeping my toes warm and cozy.

my weekend in photos

i had a doctor’s appointment on friday morning, so greg and i had time for a quick breakfast date
at starbucks after we dropped kenley off. we’ll take whatever we can get!

i scored 35 kcups of decaf on amazon for $11.50!
i was pumped! it really is the little things in life.

we headed down to visit grammy on saturday morning, which meant kenley got to go swimming!

we forgot a sippy cup so she was forced to drink out of a big girl cup.
she’s getting better and better at it.

after sleeping in until 7:30am (!!!), we watched a little bit of mickey mouse.
it’s her favorite show, if you can’t tell.

we headed out for a walk down by the beach, which didn’t last long
for this very pregnant girl in the summer heat.
i’m ready for fall… but i’m afraid this baby will be here before fall will…
