friday night, the kids and i hit up the fall festival at their school. it was a lot of fun, but it was also hot and it would have been more fun if daddy was there instead of being stuck at work. kenley had a great time running around with her friends.
crosby (dressed as a farmer for the school parade) loved practicing his jumping. unfortunately, i cut off the top of his head so you can’t see his pink hair too.
our family runs are few and far between, but we were lucky to sneak one in on saturday morning.
we headed to sea world for their halloween spooktacular event. again, it was too hot considering it was the last day of october. it was super fun though, so i am glad we went. i’ll share a lot more pictures tomorrow.
later that night, these two hit the streets as jake and izzy from jake and the neverland pirates!
sunday morning sticker time.
we played “trick or treat” many times today with puzzle pieces, legos, and magnets. they are so funny!
trying to work off some of the halloween candy i ate today…which was a lot.
and just like that, october is over. what a great weekend to end out a great month.
now, let’s go mets!
Hope you had a great Halloween!
A look back: 2011 // 2012 // 2013
friday night was filled with halloween fun! i have several more pictures to share tomorrow.
we were so happy to have meemaw, grandpa, and grammy in town this weekend for crosby’s birthday party.
the calm before the party.
crosby’s first birthday was under construction.
mad props to greg for making this killer cake. many more party pics to come.
we woke up on sunday to some much cooler temps.
according to starbucks, the holiday season is here. i was “kandra” today.
apparently, target also go the memo about the holiday season arriving. however, i’m not complaining.
the rest of the day was spent recovering, fielding time-outs, and prepping for the week.
we had a great weekend celebrating our boy, seeing family and friends, and sending october out with a bang.
many thanks to everyone who sent us wishes, gifts, and celebrated with us all month long.
how was your weekend?

I have been thinking about putting the Cricut Explore on my Christmas list this year and this may have just sealed the deal. How cute are these DIY candy corn sprinkle pumpkins?!

I posted a sneak peek of the kids as Sully and Mike Wazowski over on Instagram. They are super excited for a fun day at school and Trick or Treating tonight!
Hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween!
crosby’s buddy, wyatt, came to visit. they even wore similar shirts.
making a fashion statement while playing with her play-doh.
while we did a little bit of trick-or-treating last year, kenley was way into it this year.
kenley was a mermaid, kyler was cinderella, and crosby was asleep.
it was a fun halloween!
we ventured out for lunch to 4 rivers. it was delicious, especially because i didn’t get heartburn afterwards!
melissa was in town for a wedding, so we were able to hang out with her on friday.
since we’ve seen her, i’ve gotten pregnant and had a baby. that means it’s been too long!
we headed to the park this weekend.
kenley wanted to swing “super high” and “really fast”.
the rest of the weekend was spent snuggling this little guy.
we are enjoying our time at home and soaking up the last week of meemaw being here.
how was your weekend?
Saturday night, we headed down to our community’s event to get some practice at trick-or-treating.
It was on the chilly side, so we decided to dress festive, rather than wear Kenley’s costume.
She ended up with a few pieces of candy in her bucket and was very confused by it.
It’s going to be a fun time trick-or-treating tonight!
I ended up going into labor that night, which means we have two little pumpkins this Halloween!
Have a spooky, fun, and safe Halloween!
It’s hard to believe how much has changed from one Halloween to the next.
Our little pumpkin, just 12 days old.
Our little strawberry who is one!
We headed to the pumpkin patch a couple weekends ago to really soak in the fall fun.
Do you love how Greg is in shorts and I’m rocking the boots?
It just didn’t feel right wearing flip flops to the pumpkin patch.
We were able to get the girls all dressed up in their Halloween outfits this past weekend
before we headed out to the Halloween celebration in our community.
Kenley missed the memo to smile.
