kenley’s memorial day weekend was delayed by a day due to the stomach bug. we made it to the beach on sunday while she was still recovering.

may is the new december around here. the end of the school year came in fast and furious. we had a fabulous month and celebrated all the things.

we saw kenley’s science fair project at the orange county library on thursday night for the ocps stem fair! she was very proud.

the kids checked out some library books and we headed to our favorite brewery!

i got to hang with this girl on friday night.

six miles on saturday morning.

run all the miles, drink all the coffee.

saturday soccer in the rain.

it was fun while it lasted, then she was over it.

no better place to spend a rainy day than disney on ice!

moana was the best, but the whole show was really cool.

we finished the rainy weekend with family movie night, the greatest showman! i had a fabulous mother’s day and we all had a great weekend.

my weekend in photos

i started our busy weekend with 7.5 miles around ucf with the girls.

we were off to soccer when i got home. kenley’s game was first this weekend.

crosby had his last game after kenley’s game and he actually played!

crosby finished his season on a high note and got his trophy.

maggi and greg came to visit on saturday!

on saturday night, we headed downtown to the new orlando city stadium for our first orlando city soccer game.

so so happy to see her this weekend!

we saw two goals which were both so exciting.

we were slightly spoiled with our amazing seats for our first game.

the stadium was so nice and the game was so fun! we will definitely be back.

after naps, we spent the rest of the afternoon in the pool. i floated around for over an hour. it was amazing!

we finished mother’s day with dinner at tijuana flats with my favorite people.

my weekend in photos

on friday, i had a great morning with c man, his friends, and their moms at the mother’s day breakfast at school.

saturday morning, kenley had soccer pictures, followed by an 8:15am game. it was an early morning!

the upside, we made it to the 9:15am piyo class at the y!

i scored kenley a $20 balance bike this week to help her practice balancing. she’s getting the hang of it, but she’s not thrilled that crosby is so much faster than she is.

in the afternoon, i had the privilege of celebrating a sweet friend and her baby boy on the way this summer. it was such a nice shower and the weather was absolutely gorgeous!

greg and i headed out for a date night which included wine tasting, dinner, and crashing on another friend’s date night. it was a great night!

we started the mother’s day celebration this morning at church.

after church, we ran some errands and picked up some plants at the nursery. we spent the rest of the afternoon outside swimming and grilling. it was a nice mother’s day!

friday night dinner photo shoot.

saturday morning i ran the operation give back wounded warriors 5k on campus.

i told greg on friday that i wanted to run it in under 35 minutes.
considering how much i’ve been running (not much), i thought it would be close.
i was pleasantly surprised with my pace and finish time. and incredibly sore.
