our friday family movie was moana! it’s been way too long since we’ve watched it.

i snagged a fast pass for mine train which is next to impossible, so we headed down to magic kingdom on a school night!

the friday family movie was monsters vs. aliens (not my favorite) and crosby watched the entire thing from his little cocoon of pillows.
it was hard to get out of bed on saturday, but i was so thankful that i did. it was so good to catch up with these mamas over some early morning miles.
the boys finished the lego disney castle this weekend. we’ve all been hard at work on it since christmas, but crosby has been the main supervisor and has encouraged us to keep working on it. he absolutely loves it!

we had a couple fast passes at hollywood studios this afternoon, so we headed down for a couple of hours. when we arrived, there were several characters hanging out by the entrance with no lines! kenley got her picture and they all signed our book. it was super fun.

we had a busy weekend! crosby was excited to share it with their class mascot, chelsea. how was your weekend?
kenley’s new glasses arrived and friday was her first day wearing them!
she’s not the only one getting new glasses. i got my warby parker box on friday and chose a cute pair to order.
we stayed at the reunion resort this weekend which put us very close to disney for a couple trips to the parks.
saturday afternoon we were at animal kingdom.
we weren’t entirely prepared for how cold it was.
kenley rode everest for the first time then went right back for more and rode it again with me.
on sunday, we went to epcot before heading home and met some friends!
after a lot of together time this weekend, kenley and i headed to magic kingdom while crosby and daddy played together at home. the kids definitely enjoyed some one-on-one time with each of us.
we met up with more friends!
she also rode space mountain for the first time this weekend. she’s quite the thrill seeker!

kenley and i had a girls night out on friday. we saw my son pinocchio jr. at her school! we knew a few girls in the show so it was super fun.
on saturday, we headed to hollywood studios! the weather was nice and cool but got colder as the day went on.

greg and kenley rode the tower of terror before we left. kenley said she half liked and half didn’t like it, but then said it was her favorite thing of the day.
sunday run day with the girls. it was freezing! it felt like 34 degrees out.

our advent calendar activity was building a gingerbread village!
we ended our productive sunday with instant pot chili and chocolate chip cookies with friends.

after epcot closed, we jumped on the monorail to head to magic kingdom.
we finally got onto the seven dwarfs mine train and it was so great! apparently 11:30pm is the time to go to beat the crowds.
he stayed in his pajamas until about 3pm today, playing with legos.
we celebrated the kids’ birthdays with some special friends tonight.
we had a busy weekend.greg and i stayed out way too late on saturday night, but it was a great last weekend of october. we actually had fall weather too!
